Fixed Wireless Broadband is a cost-effective way to bring “last mile” IP connectivity to your location. Wirefreebroadband can customize a solution to meet your specific connectivity needs. We employ point-to-point and point-to-multipoint links to connect your site to other sites locally, nationally or internationally.

Fixed Wireless Broadband is quite different to regular 3G or 4G mobile wireless broadband. Our service utilises dedicated class licenced equipment. We supply and install a Wirefreebroadband radio transceiver (called a Customer Subscriber Unit or CSU) to the roof top of the clients building. The CSU is then connected to the Wirefreebroadband network via a high speed wireless connection across the airwaves. The CSU simply connects to your switching network via a CAT5 Ethernet cable.

Client users on the network switch simply enjoy fast symmetrical connectivity without the lag or contention associated with DSL, or the high cost of fibre.

Wirefreebroadband can also be used instead of or in addition to a wired local area network. As an alternative to a wired solution, Wirefreebroadband can be deployed more rapidly and more cost effectively than a wired solution.

As a complement to wired infrastructure, Wirefreebroadband can provide a diverse path for redundant connectivity, especially important in circumstances where single entry points for circuitry, even from diverse service providers, represent risk, potentially as a single point of failure.

Network security is assured as the solution uses both class-licensed and apparatus-licensed radio spectrum with the latest encryption and security features, to provide the highest level of security and reliability that is commercially available.
